Bird of the Month!

Song Thrush

A familiar songbird whos numbers are in decline. It repeats song phrases, setting it apart from Blackbirds. These birds eat snails by smashing their shells again stones- yikes!

How to spot: Song Thrushes are a warm brown shade above with speckles on their breasts, these spots look like upside-down hearts. They can be spotted in parks, woodlands, scrubs and gardens in the UK. They may be feasting with friends on short grass. Look for their snail snacks!
