Another design change... why?

One day we’ll be lying down in the park, sun rays prickling our shoulders as we cloud-gaze. The air is hazy and thick, occupied by passing conversations and birdsong. It’s almost impossible for me to stop glaring at the light painting the individual hairs on his arms as he points up,
“This one looks like a rabbit.”

His accent carves through the animal smoothly. Americans pronounce words the way they are spelt, omitting unnecessary letters unlike British people. Vowels however, are stretched a little. Given that they’re essential for holding words together, they act as the string. The Americans have a tendency to elongate that vital structure. Hearing the rumble from his chest as he spoke was infinitely more intimate than the soft buzz of the telephone line I’d grown accustomed to. He could have said anything really.

I’m unsure if he’d be capable of tanning here. Even with overcast clouds, sunburn caused an unflattering peel across my nose. The condensation of my iced drink began weeping into the corner of the picnic blanket. Birds witter above our heads, reminding me to answer,
“It does. The two clouds at the bottom make it look as though it’s leaping.”

I woke up with the urge to remake this site.
